The 2023 Madrid Open is not too far away and we know which players will take part in the WTA 1000 event and predictably it's going to be most of the good ones.
Iga Swiatek as the number one seed will be the top player in attendance but the rest of the field looks very strong as well. We'll have all the top 10 of the world there with only one of the top 25 ranked players missing the event. Ons Jabeur won the trophy last year and she'll return this year in order to try and defend her trophy.
The other finalist, Jessica Pegula will also be there as will plenty of other players. The event will run from the 24th of April till the 7th of May and it will be the first time that the event will run for two weeks after changes were made for this year. It's going to be a spectacle so don't miss it. Check out the full entry list below.
