2024 Billie Jean King Cup Finals Nominations confirmed as Pegula, Paolini, Muchova, Fernandez set as Swiatek snubs Seville again

The nominations for the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup Finals are confirmed but perhaps there are question marks again surrounding scheduling with the team tournament between 13-20 November affected by one event.

That being the WTA Finals with Iga Swiatek, the World No.1 in particular as well as Coco Gauff deciding not to play in Seville. Currently only two players slated to be in Riyadh will be involved.

Those being Jasmine Paolini and Jessica Pegula. Emma Navarro and Coco Gauff have either opted out or decided not to play. This means Danielle Collins who sits currently inside the top eight but is fighting for her spot is joined by Dolehide, Townsend and Stearns as well as Pegula for Team USA.

It is a strong line-up otherwise though with Emma Raducanu, Naomi Osaka, Leylah Fernandez, Karolina Muchova, Bianca Andreescu among others all involved. Paula Badosa will also spearhead Spanish efforts. But Swiatek now skips the tournament for a third straight year due to the Finals.
