The 2024 Nottingham Open is sure to delight grass court tennis fans worldwide, as the event will see WTA stars compete from June 10-16, 2024 in front of an appreciative British crowd in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
A WTA 250 event, the Nottingham Open is one of the limited grass court tournaments held during the WTA season. It is often used as a warm-up to the Wimbledon Championships, with players competing not just for the title but also to iron out any wrinkles in their game prior to the grass court Grand Slam event.
World No.9 Ons Jabeur is the top seed at the event. The Tunisian has been successful on grass courts in the past, winning the trophy at the Birmingham Classic in 2021 and reaching the final at Wimbledon the following year. Joining Jabeur at the event are a pair of former Grand Slam champions, as 2021 Roland Garros titlist Barbora Krejcikova and 2020 Australian Open winner Sofia Kenin have also been confirmed for the event.
