Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu turned 23 years old on June 16, a day after being eliminated from the Libema Open in 's-Hertogenbosch.
On her birthday, Andreescu expressed her gratitude for the greetings she received from her family, friends, and fans, and announced a donation to the Canadian Red Cross.
Amidst the emergency caused by the wildfires affecting Atlantic Canada, the 2019 US Open champion announced that she will be making a donation to support the wildfire relief efforts. These wildfires have forced thousands of people to evacuate their homes and have caused significant destruction in forested areas and properties.
