Victoria Azarenka will not play her Quarter-Final clash with Sara Sorribes Tormo at
Bad Homburg Open in Germany this afternoon after withdrawing before the match.
Azarenka played for over three hours in facing Alize Cornet on Wednesday winning 6-4, 3-6, 7-6(7) in staving off four match points.
But has seemingly decided to exit the tournament early after her marathon clash to head to Wimbledon with two tournaments and two runs to the latter stages in Berlin and Bad Homburg under her belt.
A tie with Laura Siegemund or Katerina Siniakova awaits with Kvitova, Podoroska, Kerber and Anisimova in the other quarter and facing off today.
