Belinda Bencic to face Samsonova in the Abu Dhabi final

Belinda Bencic and Liudmila Samsonova will contest the Abu Dhabi final after both scored impressive wins today over Haddad Maia and Zheng.

Bencic was the first player on the court out of the two and she took on a really strong Beatriz Haddad Maia. It was another flawless display from Bencic who won the match far easier than anybody expected. It's been quite evident that she enjoys the conditions in Abu Dhabi quite a bit because it allows her to play tennis the way she likes to.

She put forward another strong performance against Haddad Maia beating her in two comfortable sets 6-2 6-3. The second match was far more competitive as the players that played were much closer in level.

Smasonova took on Zheng and the Russian took the first set 6-4. It was a very close set as both can serve well and hit the ball really hard. Zheng responded with a furious 6-1 in the second set sending the match into another close and long set. Samsonova battled hard in the first few games to stay in the match because Zheng was actually playing a bit better than her.

It paid off towards the end of the match when found her rhytm and outplayed the Chinese player to take the first set 6-4.
