Bertens and Tsitsipas to the semifinals of Virtual Madrid Open

Kiki Bertens and Stefanos Tsitsipas advanced to the semifinals of Virtual Madrid Open after triumphing in their quarterfinal matches.

Both Tsitsipas and Bertens were unbeaten after group stage. What's more, they both didn't lose a single game during their matches in the group stage.

In the first women's quarterfinal match, Kiki Bertens faced Belinda Bencic. Both players showed their big qualities in the game as they held their service games for 9 games. In the 10th game, however, Bertens managed to break Belinda's service to win the match 6-4. In the semifinals, she will face the winner of the match between Caroline Wozniacki and Johanna Konta.

After Andy Murray dominated the match against Alexander Zverev, another dominator arrived to the virtual court. Stefanos Tsitsipas didn't lose a single game in the group stage and he wanted to continue in a similar style also in the quarterfinal.

There, he faced David Ferrer. The beginning of the match seemed like the Spaniard can be a big challenge for the Greek, or possibly defeat him. However, Stefanos showed his top game when he didn't lose a single game since 2-2 and won the match 6-2 to reach the semifinal. There, he will be facing the winner of the match between David Goffin and Benoit Paire.
