"Best time of the year": Bouchard ready for return to action during grass court season

Former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard is one of several who is looking forward to the upcoming grass court season.

Bouchard, who finished runner-up to Petra Kvitova at SW19 in 2014, has always had a soft spot for grass courts. The 29-year old took to social media to share a glimpse of her latest training session, while expressing her love for the grass court season.

"Best time of the year," wrote Bouchard.

The former World No.5 last made an appearance on grass at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships, but lost in the opening round. Currently ranked 219th, Bouchard is in North Palm Beach, Florida preparing for the upcoming grass swing.
