Caroline Wozniacki to face Kerber in 'farewell match' in 2022

Caroline Wozniacki is a retired tennis player but she will officially hold a farewell match in her native Denmark against Angelique Kerber.
The one-time grand slam champion has been retired officially since 2020 however she will have a proper send-off in Copenhagen. Wozniacki had a professional career spanning about 15 years and during that storied career, she won a grand slam trophy along with 29 other trophies. Despite official retiring at the 202 Australian Open, the only grand slam she ever won, Wozniacki will make a return to tennis courts one last time.
She will face Angelique Kerber in an exhibition match in Copenhagen on February 9th 2022. The match has been dubbed the 'farewell match' and it will serve to celebrate Wozniacki and her career in her native Denmark. Mark the dates as the event should feature a packed arena that will look to give Wozniacki a proper send-off into retirement.
