Coco Gauff is through to the 2nd week of Roland Garros after Jennifer Brady retired 24 minutes into the match.
Coco Gauff is through to the 2nd week of Roland Garros after Jennifer Brady retired 24 minutes into the match. Gauff came out extremely focused in the match flying all over the court and making some great shots. She lost only 1 game in the first set that lasted 19 minutes. Gauff played great making only one unforced error in the set but Brady was also abysmal.
It was apparent something was wrong with her as her game was completely off. Before the 2nd set started Brady retired sending Gauff into her first final 16 at a Grand Slam event. The young American will face Jabeur next against whom she has a 2-1 H2H record.
