"Don't panic because she loses a match" - Barry Cowan on Emma Raducanu

Former British tennis player Barry Cowan urges tennis fans to be patient with Raducanu as she figures out life on Tour.

Speaking to Sky Sports Cowan gave his opinion on Raducanu and her recent tennis struggles saying:

we have to make sure that we are not kneejerk in our reactions just because Emma loses a match. SO much tennis ahead of her."

Cowan did explain that if you take your eyes off of a tennis ball and focus on other stuff, things can go very wrong. Raducanu has been warned by many players about not focusing enough on the game and how terribly it can go.

Cowan agrees saying:

"You gotta be consistent in what you do. You gotta have a consistent team around you. When you have that and you combine that with the talent and the mentality that she has, you're going to win tennis match and you're going to win titles."
