Double joy for Carla Suarez-Navarro as former Spanish tennis star expecting twins

Former tennis player Carla Suarez-Navarro set to become a mother after an announcement that she is expecting twins to be born later this year.

Suarez Navarro retired not too long after successfully beating cancer which proved quite a stressful time for the player. She was an excellent player in her time but a cancer diagnosis stopped her career however everything went well and she defeated the disease. She returned to play a few events before finally saying goodbye to tennis opting to focus more on other parts of her life.

She's set to become a mother later this year after announcing her pregnancy along with the fact that she's actually carrying twins. She shared it on Instagram with a photo and the caption:

"A few months ago we announced with great enthusiasm that we would become mothers. A few days later, they gave us double joy. Twins is coming! I'm counting the days left to see you and enjoy this amazing new phase together."
