The draw has been released ahead of Abierto Akron Zapopan Guadalajara which is due to take place between 21-27 Feb, 2022 in Mexico.
Emma Raducanu will make her return to action when she takes on Daria Saville. Madison Keys after her quality display during the Australian Open will face Harmony Tan.
While Sloane Stephens faces Czech prodigy, Brenda Fruhvirtova. Camila Osorio Serrano and Sara Sorribes Tormo are also among the top seeds for the WTA 250.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
