2022 Abierto Akron Zapopan Guadalajara Prize Money with $239,477 on offer

The 2022 Abierto Akron Zapopan event in Guadalajara is a WTA 250 event that will be headlined by Emma Raducanu with a prize pool of $239,477.

The event has drawn a stronger field than last year and it's a testament to the work the WTA has done along with Mexico. The courts hosted the WTA Finals last year and the players were impressed with the facilities and the conditions of play. Now, the 2022 edition, will host Emma Raducanu for the first time as the Brit returns from her short break following the Australian Open.

The losing player in the final will get a consolation prize of 18,037 $. Semifinalists will get 10,100 $ while the lower rounds yield less money and fewer WTA points.
