Draw Pan Pacific Open 2024 headlined by Qinwen Zheng, Paula Badosa, Anna Kalinskaya and Bianca Andreescu

The draw has been confirmed for the Pan Pacific Open which will take place between October 21-27, 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. It is also known as Toray Pan Pacific Open for sponsorship reasons.

Last year saw many of the top 10 involved but this year it is the opposite with many instead deciding to end their season or won't play until the WTA Finals. Qinwen Zheng though is top seed this week who has played throughout this run.

It has paid dividends as well with others failing to qualify for the Year End Finals, she has took massive advantage and now will play in Riyadh. She opens up against Mika Stojsavljevic or Moyuka Uchijima in the second round. Likely looming is either Leylah Fernandez or Ajla Tomljanovic. Anna Kalinskaya reached the Quarter-Finals in Ningbo and sits just underneath. She is fourth seed and faces either Viktoriya Tomova or Veronika Kudermetova in the second round and with a Qualifier burst or Magdalena Frech, it is looking good for her.

Underneath, Daria Kasatkina and Paula Badosa who played out a semi-final in Ningbo albeit with the Spaniard retiring injured will be in another potential collision course. The former plays either McCartney Kessler or Elisabetta Cocciaretto. While Badosa starts against Katie Boulter. They also sit in the same section as Bianca Andreescu who starts tough against Wang Xinyu then Beatriz Haddad Maia awaits. A player low on confidence and wins and one that likely won't get them with that draw.
