The 2021 WTA Poland Open will be the 8th edition of the event featuring Yulia Putintseva and Tamara Zidansek.
The 2021 WTA Poland Open will run from July 19th till July 25th and it will feature two players who are in great form. Both Yulia Putintseva and Tamara Zidansek will enter the event after winning tennis events in the previous week. Top seed Putintseva won Budapest and she will face a tricky draw in Gdynia.
The red-hot Putintseva will have to face off against tricky clay players such as Poland's Magdalena Frech in the 1st round. It will be a true test of her physical capability as she noted being tired during the Hungarian Grand Prix.
The 2nd seed will be Tamara Zidansek who had a great comeback against Burel in Lausanne. The Slovenian player showed her clay capabilities at the French Open where she enjoyed a deep run and in Gdynia, she will look to do the same. Interestingly enough she will most likely face Burel in the 2nd round here only days after beating her in the final. Check out the full draw below.
