- Americans should be banned from competitive tennis. They are generally taller and have longer forearms. And of course, being a Wimbledon champion is wholly reliant on these two factors alone. Mental and physical preparation, training, mindset, level of fitness, tactics, competitor analysis etc. clearly have nothing to do with the match outcome. My position is borne out by the facts - of Wimbledon open women’s single champions, 29 have been American, whereas the whole of the rest of the world has only managed 27. This imbalance needs to be urgently addressed 🤣
- The general pattern has been Loser Bettors attacking people better than themselves through (anti)Social Media.
The majority of threats and disgusting comments come from those who lose their lunch money, allowances, and rent money in online bets.

Don't bullshit everyone (actually only yourself) for over a week and finally admit a simple mistake or misjudgement.
It's never a good idea to try to justify shaky comments instead of owning them. Quicker one makes an admission of somewhat poor judgement, the sooner it goes away.
- Would be great of we get a 3rd player from that level
- Really, Emma? Another excuse???
Geez...
- BBC sports coverage blows anyway.
Two most obvious reasons = They can't seem to shut their mouths often enough -- and they will bounce from one event to another at will. Not to mention show 90% of a sporting event and cut it short to go to regularly schedule programs!
In short, BBC sucks.
- Jimmy, how much more pause are you talking about? By the time the match ends to the time they stage is erected and they mount it to accept the award is about 10 minutes. All players are not at the same maturity level. Culture and one's upbringing has a LOT to do with how players each respond to a loss. Some players just need to learn how to exercise self-control. It isn't everything that you want to say that you should say.
- Well the BBC have a whole lot of egg on their faces 😡
- Although Djokovic could not win a single set, he played his best tennis in nearly two years against Sinner.
