Entry List WTA China Open 2024 headlined by Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula and Aryna Sabalenka

The Entry List is set for September 26 - October 6 as the China Open heads to Beijing for both ATP and also WTA action with Iga Swiatek headlining the WTA line-up.

Albeit a similar problem to next week's Korea Open may arise. The whole of the top 20 have signed up for the China Open with Swiatek being defending champion. But whether a lot play is very much up in the air.

Swiatek, Rybakina, Pegula and Navarro for instance all withdrew from Seoul likely due to the proximity of the US Open. With the WTA 1000 tournaments, they are less skippable due to mandatory rules. But with it heading towards the back end of the season, some big names may miss it.

The remaining members of the top five also join with Aryna Sabalenka, Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini and Elena Rybakina all signed up. As are Coco Gauff, Qinwen Zheng for her home tournament, Barbora Krejcikova, Maria Sakkari, Jelena Ostapenko, Danielle Collins and Emma Navarro out of the higher echelon of the rankings.

Caroline Wozniacki is a two-time champion and is involved through the main draw with Emma Raducanu also involved. She is of Chinese descent so will like Qinwen Zheng be a big attraction. While other former champions in Victoria Azarenka and Caroline Garcia are also involved.
