Eugenie Bouchard shows off injuries from pickleball as training continues for former Wimbledon finalist

Former Wimbledon finalist Eugenie Bouchard has been making the transition from tennis to Pickleball, and she gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the fallout from her recent training session.
The Canadian last competed on the WTA circuit in 2023 when she reached the second round in Guadalajara. Ever since, Bouchard has taken up pickleball, signing with the PPA Tour last September. She played her first official match at the PPA Tour Hyundai Masters in Pam Springs, which took place on January 10, 2024.

Bouchard shows off bruise from training

The former World No.5 took to social media to share photos from her most recent practice session in Coconut Creek, Florida. With the Veolia Austin Open happening later this week, Bouchard began ramping up her practice sessions. The intense training resulted in her obtaining a bruise on her thigh, which she posted on Instagram.
"Pickle injuries," wrote Bouchard.
