The
Hopman Cup will be revived this year as it will be played in Nice after Wimbledon with the first teams and players revealed recently.
The event has been a longstanding popular event both among players and fans and it will make a comeback this year. It won't be played in Australia like it was for many years but rather in Nice during the summer. Everything else pretty much remains the same and we now know the first three teams that will take part.
We have Team Spain with
Carlos Alcaraz and
Paula Badosa both committed to playing at the event. We have Team France with Richard Gasquet and Alize Cornet both confirmed to play as well. Finally, we also have Switzerland with Leandro Riedi and Belinda Bencic committed to play. Three more teams are set to be named in March.
