Gauff reached her first WTA singles final at Linz

Coco Gauff has hit a new milestone in her rapid rise up the WTA rankings. Yesterday she defeated Kiki Bertens, and today Petkovic was not good enough 6-4, 6-4.

After tracing with 2-0 in the first set, she took the first break point, leveled the game, and broke again on 5-4 to take the set. In set 2 she needed one break, and finished the game on her second match point.

In her first singles final she will face the winner of the match between 2017 Roland Garros champion Jelena Ostapenko or last year's finalist Ekaterina Alexandrova (8).
