Genie Bouchard hosts pizza party for fans in New York

Eugenie Bouchard treated fans to an impromptu pizza party on Monday night, as the Canadian star was craving pizza and invited her Instagram followers to join her.

Currently in New York city, the 2014 Wimbledon finalist was on the hunt for pizza and asked her Instagram followers for the best pizza spot in the city. Overwhelmed by several responses, the general consensus was Joe's Pizza in the West Village. Bouchard headed over to Joe's, but not before inviting her followers to join her for a slice.

Upon arrival, the World No.118 was greeted by a large group of fans, who were excited to meet the tennis star. They were treated to pizza by the Canadian star, who also spent time chatting with her new friends. The 27-year old even teased the idea of making this impromptu meet-and-greet an annual event, and thanked her fans for showing up.

Bouchard is currently recovering from arthroscopic surgery on her right shoulder, but is eager to return to competing on the WTA circuit.
