2020 Olympic Games Tennis WTA Entry List with Barty, Osaka and Swiatek (last update 18-07)

The 2020 Summer Olympic Games are coming closer and the tennis event will feature a strong field headlined by Ashleigh Barty, Naomi Osaka, and Iga Swiatek.

The 2020 Summer Olympic Games are going to be played in 2021 due to the circumstances but even with all the difficulty, it will feature the tennis elite. This list is official as per ITF and it is now fully confirmed ahead of next week's start.

The majority of the best player's will take part in this event representing their country and fighting for those medals. Participation is limited to only 4 players from each nation which usually means the four highest-ranked players.

The defending champion is Monica Puig who won gold for Puerto Rico at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Brazil. Among those missing include Simona Halep, Sofia Kenin, Bianca Andreescu, Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka but unlike the men's field, there are star names involved.
