Halep leaves fans hopeful at return amidst doping scandal as clay court practice begins

Simona Halep has left fans hopeful of a sudden return to tennis as she was spotted practicing on a clay court ahead of that part of the calendar coming up.

Halep has been trying to prove her innocence ever since she got suspended for a banned substance in her body. The Romanian looked to be on a good track to get her name cleared however no official confirmation that it happened. A hearing was supposedly held earlier this month but the outcome is not yet known.

She's back on the court though indicating that she expects to be cleared to play sometime during the clay season, preferably before Roland Garros. She posted a picture on social media showing herself with a racquet on a clay court and fans are buzzing that she's going to be cleared to play soon.
