There seems to be a collective sigh of relief as 2020 comes to an end, as the Covid-19 pandemic has made it one of the more difficult years in recent memory. Nonetheless, several stars of the WTA including Simona Halep and Petra Kvitova seem prepared to go out on a high note.

Halep ended the year with three titles, and was apparently awarded a national award from her home country of Romania. The World No.2 took to social media to show off her new silverware in between practice.

Petra Kvitova shared a stunning photo of herself, as she looked to be dressed up and ready to hit the town. There haven't been too many parties in 2020 but that didn't stop the Czech from glamming it up.

Poland's Iga Swiatek used the off-season as a chance to travel, with the reigning French Open champion posting her vacation pictures.

Iga Świątek on Twitter: "☀️Just because it's so difficult to travel these days I appreciate this opportunity even more. And I missed this. Wiem, że w ostatnich miesiącach podróżowanie stanowi duże wyzwanie, dlatego doceniam jeszcze bardziej to, że mam taką możliwość. Tęskniłam.☀️ #travel #workworkwork https://t.co/9mIXxWUIJP" / Twitter

Some WTA stars used this opportunity to work on their fitness in preparation for 2021, as evidenced by Belinda Bencic. The Swiss star posed a photo of herself working out in the gym, as she readies for next season.
