Paula Badosa has called
Rafael Nadal 'very supportive' during her
United Cup experience offering advice and tactics during matches.
Nadal and Badosa are the leading players for Spain at the United Cup and she talked about the role Nadal has on the team. As one of the best of all time many look to him to offer some advice or tips when things go south. He was certainly doing that in Badosa's previous match against Dart as he talked to her all the time during changeovers.
After the win over Dart, Badosa talked about Nadal:
"Well, he's very into the matches. I really appreciate that. Yeah, he's very supportive. Yeah, I mean, a little bit of the game, stay aggressive. He was really going, like, telling me, like, stay very aggressive, especially with my forehand, with the serve. That was a little bit what I was trying."
She added:
"As well I was a little bit tired, so I had to go more for the shots. So, yeah, he was just very supportive and saying that to me."
