Australian player
Daria Saville has opened up about a frustrating time after landing in China.
The 29-year-old is visiting the Asian country after taking
some time off from tennis activities but things did not go as planned.
Saville shared a long message in a post on a social media
platform Instagram where she stated how she managed to get access to the internet.
"Been in China for one day and horrific internet is
driving me nuts,” she wrote. “I can live without titktok but I can't access my
emails or WhatsApp cause VPN+wifi never works properly. But I found an esim
which solves it. Posting it using my new esim.
"Get an app called Nomad and then get regional plan. it
includes 21 countries and won't need VPN! 20gb of data for 45 days, This is my
referral code as I think you can get a discount.”
Saville had a disappointing outing in the recently concluded
US Open where she was knocked out of the competition after suffering a defeat
to current world number two Iga Swiatek in straight sets with a score of 6-3, 6-4.
The Melbourne-born had a disappointing time in 2023 where she
only took part in two Grand Slams and in both competitions, she was knocked out
from the first and second rounds.
