Naomi Osaka is currently away from tennis due to being pregnant but she confirmed that she plans to come back to tennis and win more grand slams in the future.
Osaka has been out of tennis for a few months after announcing her pregnancy but she's been rather inactive even before that for a good amount. It's been a long time since she's really been focused and dedicated to tennis with most news around her generally featuring a non-tennis topic. Well, this news is a tennis-related one and it's from her interview with Japanese TV.
In it, Osaka confirmed that she plans to make a return to tennis after her pregnancy. She still feels very much competitive and plans to win grand slams in the future:
"I definitely plan to come back...it's kind of like a break a little bit, but also I feel very competitive still, and I really want to win more slams."
