"I discovered in Simona a very rare person": Mouratoglou continues to support Halep amid second anti-doping violation

Patrick Mouratoglou after initially throwing his support behind Simona Halep amid the second anti-doping violation has released a lengthy statement.

Mouratoglou reiterated a lot of what Halep said about the ITIA supposedly harassing her but also had a lot of personal praise for the former World No.1.

"I discovered in Simona a very rare person. She is kind, sweet, & feels no aggressiveness & jealousy towards anybody. She has devoted all her life to tennis. It’s a childhood passion. Not her father’s, not her mother’s. Only hers," said Mouratoglou in his statement.
