"I was waiting": From one power couple to another as Anna Kalinskaya shares delight in Katie Boulter's engagement to Alex de Minaur

Anna Kalinskaya who forms part of another leading tennis power couple with World No.1, Jannik Sinner has shared her delight at her good friend Katie Boulter getting engaged to Alex de Minaur which was announced on Monday.

Boulter and De Minaur shared the news with their fans and followers on December 23. The World No.24 and World No.9 in the WTA and ATP respectively went public with their relationship back in 2020.

Ever since the couple has provided updates on their dating life, played mixed doubles at Wimbledon together and perhaps have not weathered the storm of tabloid coverage that Kalinskaya and her current boyfriend Jannik Sinner have thus far.

Boulter shared a cryptic post about their relationship saying today was a good day while in Alicante last week meaning likely they were engaged before they announced it even a week or so. "We’ve been keeping a small secret…" they wrote on Instagram.

But Kalinskaya was elated by the announcement sharing her love in one of many comments showing how well regarded De Minaur and Boulter are in the tennis world.

"Yesssssssss I was waiting," wrote Kalinskaya. "Congratulations a lot of love." in a comment which got over 200+ likes from tennis fans across the world.

Both received love from most of the top stars and ironically could face each other within days of becoming fiances as they are paired up to face off in the United Cup. They both flew to Australia at the same time and have both said how odd it will be.
