Poland’s tennis star
Iga Swiatek has revealed that she would
like to recreate leopard look for Halloween.
The 22-year-old was recently quoted in a report where she expressed
her wish regarding the upcoming festival.
"We don't have such a huge tradition of Halloween in
Europe like in the US,” she said. “I would love to dress as Shania Twain, that
panther look. That would be my dream. Did I say right, panther? Right, sorry.
“I don't know about these big jungle cats. But I don't know
if I'm going to have an opportunity because here people dress up as well. I'm
not prepared. I was more focused on yesterday's gala than Halloween. I'm going
to change that for sure in future years.”
On the court, Swiatek is now preparing to take part in the
last big tournament in the WTA calendar, the Finals.
The current world number two will be hoping to produce an
impressive performance and end the year on a high.
Last year, Swiatek ended just short as she lost in the
semifinal of the event to the current world number one Belarus’ Aryna Sabalenka
with a score of 6-2, 2-6, 6-1.
However, the
25-year-old did not manage to keep the winning streak going as she lost to France’s
Caroline Garcia in the final with a score of 7-6, 6-4.
