Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanovic has cautioned
players on the tour regarding making their relationship public.
The 30-year-old was in a relationship with fellow tennis
player Italy’s Matteo Berrettini and has recently starred in the Netflix series
Break Point.
Tomljanovic was recently quoted in a report where she
cautioned fellow tennis players regarding making their relationship public.
"The internet never disappoints,” she said. “I knew
there was a video but I was never going to put it to light. I honestly didn’t
think anyone would pick up on that scene, so it was hilarious when they found
it.
“To be fair, the lighting outside was much better than the
room, anyway, so I don’t want anyone to feel bad. Even if they had filmed it, I
promise it wasn’t that dramatic. I’m not saying, ‘Don’t do it. But from my
experience, I would maybe say think twice.”

Tomljanovic is currently taking part in the US Open 2023
where she has already booked her place in the second round after securing a
hard-fought win in the opener against Hungary’s Panna Udvardy with a score of
3-6, 6-2, 6-4 on Monday.
She is now set to face the world number four Elena Rybakina
of Kazakhstan in the round of 64 on Wednesday.
