Emma Raducanu has been content with life recently after steping away from social media by deleting what's app and Instagram on her phone.
It's been a whirlwind life for Raducanu ever since she became a global superstar by winning the US Open. From brand deals to other commitments ad her tennis career, it's been very little time to really enjoy things and let it settle. That is why she took a break from social media and she's enjoying it:
"After AO (Australian Open) I deleted WhatsApp and Instagram off my phone and after that, I've been living under my own little rock. I felt like sometimes you go through patches where you just want to zone in on yourself and I was very content with my life without it. I've learned regardless of what you do, if you do good, if you do bad, people are going to come at you regardless."
She won the first match in
Indian Wells pretty comfortably and said that her physical issues are okay:
"They're manageable. I'm not 100% but you never really are. I've just been trying to short-term manage it as much as possible. Just trying to get through the tournament and reevaluate after.
