The ATP Chief Andrea Gaudenzi has confirmed that the
ATP Finals will remain in Turin in 2025 with the future beyond that yet to be determined.
After spending over a decade in London, the ATP Finals moved to Turin where they'll remain at least until 2025 but the future beyond that is still to be determined. In a recent press conference, Gaudenzi talked about the future of the event noting:
"There are three more editions to go, we will start discussing at board level in the first half of next year. It's still premature, we haven't talked about it. Early
next year we will start discussing the future. The feedback has been
100% positive. A little obviously for the beauty of Italy and the city,
then for the ability of Italians to be hospitable."
He also talked about the
Next Gen ATP Finals:
"We are evaluating the options on the market, but it is premature, the process is still ongoing. Time
is tight and I believe that in the next 2 or 3 months we will reach a
decision. Italy will, I believe and hope, be one of the candidates.
There is obviously also the hypothesis of taking it abroad and one of
the hypotheses is to join it in the WTA Finals."
