Andy Murray didn't attend the 2021 Roland Garros, but he's apparently following the event as his last tweet showed.
Still only 20-years-old Iga Swiatek is defending the title at the 2021 Roland Garros after dominantly triumphing the last year. The Polish player is yet to lose a set as she defeated Kaja Juvan, Rebecca Peterson, Anett Kontaveit, and Marty Kostyuk on her way to the quarterfinals. Next, she will be facing the 17th-seeded Maria Sakkari.
Her great effort was recognized also by one of the best male tennis players in history, Andy Murray. The former world number 1 tweeted that he loves watching Iga Swiatek play. Soon the 2020 Roland Garros champion responded to his tweet, when she wrote: "Thank you Sir Andy! Are you by any chance up for a practice? I really need to improve my skills on grass."
Swiatek is yet to reach the 2nd round at the Wimbledon as she reached at least 3rd round at all the other Grand Slams and therefore pairing with a 2-time Wimbledon champion and Olympic champion on grass-court would be a great practice ahead of the 3rd Grand Slam tournament of the 2021 season for the Polish.
