Iga Swiatek is only 22 and already has a Hall of Fame type career and years ahead of her to add even more accolades and records and she is set to tag on to the top ten in the WTA Rich List in short order which will likely happen during Indian Wells.
Swiatek won the 2020 French Open and amid a myriad of so-called one slam wonders or players who didn't follow up, questions were asked about whether she could continue that. But after taking the mantle from Ashleigh Barty in 2022 as the top player in the sport, the rise seemingly won't be stopping.
She currently sits 11th place in the all-time money list with $25,809,127. Albeit she is slightly helped by the fact that she has equal
prize money in certain tournaments making it easier to climb the list perhaps compared to some of her contemporaries. But she has amassed that by only winning 18 tournaments including four Grand Slams.
A record WTA Finals haul last year helped her cause and she is now certain to break into that top 10 and leap ahead of Svetlana Kuznetsova. Agnieszka Radwanska is the next in her sights as she aims to establish herself as the greatest female Polish tennis player. Serena and Venus Williams for instance lead the way and in particular the former is likely imperious. But the remainder are very much in Swiatek's sights.
Only Halep (pending a return after her ban), Petra Kvitova (who is pregnant and isn't confirmed to return) as well as returning mother trio Victoria Azarenka, Caroline Wozniacki and Angelique Kerber are the only players still active on this list who can add to their totals and compared to Swiatek aren't in the form of their prime. Azarenka perhaps is the only one who has shown any semblance of this form in recent years.
