"I'm just very happy with my performance" - Garcia after stunning Gauff

Caroline Garcia stunned Coco Gauff 6-3 6-4 and she was very happy about the way she handled everything from her tennis to her emotions.

The French player has been playing spectacular tennis since the start of the grass season and it's been a breakout nobody really expected. While working hard for it, Garcia certainly did not expect to perform so well either but she's happy:

"It was a very intense match. Every point, every game was really tough. The atmosphere was really American with a lot of energy out there. I'm just very happy with the performance today, to manage the emotion in my game."

This is her first US Open semi-final.
