"I'm sorry, it is emotional" - Teary Muchova cannot keep in emotions following heartbreaking Wimbledon final loss

Karolina Muchova was utterly distraught following her 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 defeat in the Wimbledon final against Linda Noskova. She made a valiant attempt at a comeback but was not able to complete it. She was very emotional following the result with the tears flowing following that loss.
It was Muchova's second Grand Slam final, and first at Wimbledon. She had entered the match undefeated in her prior 10 matches following her triumph at the Bad Homburg Open final. She looked imperious enroute to the final, saving a match point against Coco Gauff in a thrilling semi-final to set up an all-Czech tie.
This time around, she was not able to get the better of her 21-year-old opponent on the big stage. She was outclassed in the first set before falling 5-2 behind in the second. What followed was hugely dramatic and entertaining for the crowd and fans.
Muchova fought back valiantly and incredibly won five games in a row while saving five championship points in that time Frame. Noskova battled the emotions and frustrations to break at the start of the third set, showing incredible bottle. Muchova could not muster up the strength to fight back and would be on the receiving end of another major defeat.

Muchova attempted to fight back the tears, but they were flowing ahead of her beginning her speech. "Really tough to find any words, but I'll start with Linda, my 'ex-friend'. I'm kidding obviously, kind of," she began by joking, sending Centre Court into laughter.
"You are so young, this is your first final at a Grand Slam, the way you handled it and the way you played is really unbelievable. Beyond this you are an especially very kind person and human being, so congratulations to you and your team. You deserve it."

She continued: "I would like to thank everyone who is making this special tournament possible. The attention is always on us players, but there are so many people who run this special event, so thank you for making it so smooth. I would like to thank every one of you guys [the crowd] for the past two weeks, you have been coming to every one of my matches, supporting everyone. This is an unbelievable tournament, a special one, the best one in the world and I am just really glad to be standing here."
She then turned to her box with family, friends and coaches in, and she gain became very emotional. "Even though I am pretty disappointed now. But, when I look to my corner... I'm sorry, it is emotional. When I look to the corner, I have all my friends and family who cancel plans to come and watch me and it means a lot. My team who has been with me these past weeks, pushing me and keeping me positive, thank you guys very much."
This setback will not halt her as she vows to continue fighting on. "I will be fighting more, I want the trophy and I hope I can reach the final again and can come back and win."
The Qatar Open, Bad Homburg Open and now Wimbledon final. It has been a brilliant campaign for Muchova. She is now up to sixth in the world and in a great position to qualify for the WTA Finals.
