Bianca Andreescu will make her return to tennis after not playing at all this year and she is very excited to get to it.
Bianca Andreescu has not played at all this year after battling injuries pretty much all year long last year. The Canadian took time to finally get fully healthy and she will make her 2022 debut at the
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart. Ahead of the event, Andreescu talked to the media saying:
"I'm very excited to play again. The last couple of months have been quite difficult but, as cliche, as it sounds, I feel like I found myself. I really developed a stronger passion for this game and I realized that I truly love this sport."
She will get her 2022 campaign underway against Jule Niemeier who is a native player and who will certainly challenge Andreescu in her first match back. Andreescu prepared for this event at the Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy in Mallorca.
