J & T Banka Ostrava Open 2020 WTA Entry List

The J & T Banka Ostrava Open 2020 will feature a strong field in its first-ever iteration with Karolina Pliskova leading the field that features Elina Svitolina, Aryna Sabalenka and many others.

The Coronavirus pandemic proves a troublesome thing for the tennis community as many events were cancelled due to it. The Ostrava Open is one event that was made because of the pandemic to give tennis fans some tennis while the world deals with the pandemic. The event will be held from the 19th till the 25th of October in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Despite it being a first-time event it features a strong field headlined by Karolina Pliskova. She hasn't enjoyed a happy restart to the season but things can change at home for her and she will be eager for a title after the recent disappointments. Besides her, we will get to see: Elina Svitolina, Aryna Sabalenka and Victoria Azarenka.

The native Czech crowd will have another player to cheer for in Karolina Muchova who will also make an appearance. The event which will be held indoors on hard courts boasts hefty prize money of 528,500 $.
