Jabeur gives reason for poor display after heartbreaking Australian Open exit: "I had a difficult time breathing, not sure what’s happening"

Ons Jabeur revealed the reason behind her poor performance against Marketa Vondrousova at the Australian Open with the Czech player beating her in the match.

Number two seed Ons Jabeur will have to wait a bit more for a grand slam event as the Tunisian player lost to Vondrousova in the second round of the Australian Open. She played rather poorly, especially in the final set which Vondrousova won 6-1. After the match, Jabeur revealed she struggled to breathe:

“I had a difficult time breathing. Not sure what’s happening. Marketa played a good match and deserved to win. I will do my best to come back stronger.”

It clearly impacted her as she made over 50 unforced winners as she tried to shorten the points.
