Pegula kicked off the WTA Tour season with her first match against Petra Kvitova in the opening game of the United Cup, representing the United States. Additionally, she was part of the decisive match when she finished as the runner-up in the WTA Finals, ultimately won by Iga Swiatek.
In a recent social media post, Pegula shared a video showcasing her journey around the world during 2023, covering a total of 50,000 miles (80,000 kilometers) and traversing all five continents.
