Jessica Pegula offers ATX Open Austin finalists thoughtful gesture to get to Indian Wells on time

Jessica Pegula sealed the title at the 2025 Indian Wells Open seeing off McCartney Kessler in a 7-5, 6-2 win and has given all players who were involved in Finals Day a thoughtful gesture.
Pegula as per Yue Yuan who was the previous champion offered to share a private jet to Indian Wells with her fellow competitors. The Chinese ace was involved in the final of the women's doubles where she teamed with Anna Blinkova in a winning effort 3-6, 6-1, 10-4.
They defeated Shuai Zhang and McCartney Kessler, the latter like alluded to lost out to Pegula in the final of the singles. Yuan described the journey that she would've taken otherwise with a nine hour drive to Indian Wells.
Instead Pegula helped out those involved as she was going to Indian Wells anyway when the Main Draw begins on Wednesday.
"It seems that I have not fully defended my title. I really like Austin." wrote Yuan on Weibo roughly translated.
"All the players in today's competition are invited to take a private plane together. Thank you very much. Otherwise at least nine hours on the road tomorrow. My go, how can there be such a fairy little sister."
