Barbora Krejcikova played a really good match in Dubai to come back from a 0-6 first-set loss against Sabalenka winning the next two to secure the semi-final.
It was a very interesting match in Dubai between Krejcikova and Sabalenka. It was an even more interesting scoreline as Sabalenka smashed Krejcikova in the first set 6-0 looking really close to securing another win. She was undefeated before this match and didn't seem likely that she would lose after that first set.
The second set was a really competitive one and it was the crucial one. Sabalenka continued to play well early taking a 3-1 lead and looked about 99,9 % confirmed as a semi-finalist. Well, it didn't happen as Krejcikova fought back to force a tiebreak and it was a really good one from Krejcikova as she won 7-2.
The final set was a beatdown from Krejcikova as she won it 6-1 sending herself into the semi-final. An interesting turnaround and a first loss for Sabalenka. The final quarter-final went as the first one did, with a walkover. Karolina Muchova pulled out before she took the court against Jessica Pegula.
