Leylah Fernandez brings out inner Rocky while training for Miami: "Couldn't resist"

Canadian tennis star Leylah Fernandez had some fun over the weekend as she prepared for the 2023 Miami Open, sharing a video where she trained to the iconic Rocky theme song "Gonna Fly Now".

The 202i US Open finalist fell to Caroline Garcia at the recently concluded Indian Wells event, in a grueling three-set match. The 20-year old has not let this dampen her spirits, as she took to social media on March 20 to share some footage of herself training in Florida ahead of Miami.

Fernandez recreated one of the most iconic scenes in movie history when she added "Gonna Fly Now" to a video of her running up the stairs at the stadium, similar to a scene in Rocky where the title character runs up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the 1976 movie.
