An official return date has likely been set for Emma Raducanu's return to tennis with the former US Open champion not entered into Flushing Meadows.
Raducanu has not played since April and underwent three different surgeries in May. It seemed that potentially she was going to be due back for the US Open, but she has only just resumed training.
It seems that fans of the Brit won't see her until December. She is entered into the Macau Tennis Masters exhibition alongside Yibing Wu as well as Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe and Belinda Bencic.
Her agents, IMG are helping to host the tournament and Luiz Carvalho who is senior vice president said the following on the tournament:
"There will be an even greater connection to the local community.
"Emma’s Chinese roots and her remarkable rise to stardom by winning the US Open have made her a global sensation, while Wu Yibing’s historic feat as the first Chinese national to win an ATP tournament has significantly elevated his standing in world tennis."
