The 2022 Credit One Charleston Open will not be lacking in star-power, as past champions Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens have entered the annual event.

The American duo are among the newest entrants to the WTA 500 event, with Keys lifting the trophy in 2019 while Stephens triumphed in 2016.

Already confirmed for the event are 2021 US Open runner-up Leylah Fernandez, Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Belinda Bencic and World No.8 Paula Badosa.

Formerly known as the Volvo Car Open, the Charleston Open will be hosted in South Carolina from April 2-10, 2022.
