On her 35th birthday, Maria Sharapova announced that she was expecting a baby with a post on the social media platform Instagram
The Russian player has been out of tennis for a few years but she's focused on other ventures such as many of her business. There is a development on a personal note as well with the Russian posting a photo of herself on Instagram with a visible baby bump. She captioned the photo with:
" Precious beginnings!!! Eating birthday cake for two has always been my specialty."
