Monfils, Fognini, Keys and Azarenka join 2020 Virtual Madrid Open Field

It's already known that the 2020 Virtual Madrid Open will be a great competition as Monfils, Fognini, Keys, and Azarenka added their names to the list of the players.
Gael Monfils and Fabio Fognini have career-high 9th place in the ATP Ranking. Madison Keys reached the 7th place in the WTA Ranking, and Victoria Azarenka is former world number 1. These 4 are the players that joined already strong line-up for the 2020 Virtual Madrid Open that will take place from 27th to 30th April 2020.
“I’m excited to play the Mutua Madrid Open Virtual Pro this month and have an opportunity to compete against some of my fellow players virtually!”, admitted Azarenka. “It’s a great opportunity to still find some competition and I hope everyone will enjoy watching us compete”.
“I’m very curious about this new e-vent. I will try to do my best to win it but I have heard some of my colleagues are very good and are practicing hard”, recognized Fognini. “Let’s see who will come up on top! Great idea and initiative from the Madrid organisers”.
“I’m very excited to be participating the Mutua Madrid Open Virtual Pro game”, said Keys. “It’s a great way to bring us players together and get some ‘competition’ in online while staying at home”.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
