Murray, Ferro victorious at Virtual Madrid Open to finish group stage undefeated

Today, Andy Murray kicked off the day with a victory over Rafael Nadal. Now, the former world number 1 added another victory, against Denis Shapovalov, to top Group 1. In women's Group 1, it was Fiona Ferro who showed similar performance as Murray.

Until the last match, Fiona didn't lose a single game. In the last match, she faced Belinda Bencic who was second in the group and also undefeated. The match reached tie-break, where the French player was more successful to triumph in Group 1.

Also, Kiki Bertens had a pretty successful day so far. The Dutch defeated Donna Vekic without losing a single game. In men's part of the draw. David Ferrer defeated John Isner 3-0 to secure the spot in the quarterfinals.
